Ryan has been with MBC for 8 years. He is passionate about preaching, practical theology, and leadership. He recently completed a hybrid doctorate at Tyndale University on leadership and preaching. Ryan enjoys reading, drinking tea, and drinking tea while reading. Most importantly, he is blessed to be Michelle's husband and Emma's father.

Sam joined our team as our Pastor of Youth Ministry in February 2023 and comes to us with lots of experience working with Canadian born Chinese youth. He was born and raised in Canada, spending most of his life growing up in Toronto.
Sam enjoys playing music and jamming with other musicians. He makes it a point to invest in worship wherever God leads him to serve. He has a deep desire to demonstrate the Gospel through family ministry, starting with his relationship with his wife Christina. They both share a passion and desire to serve in the church with the gifts God has blessed them with, and for seeing individuals in the church grow in a saving grace of Christ.

Derek is the Children's Ministry Pastor at Malvern Baptist Church. He is passionate about sharing God’s love through Jesus in creative and animated ways.  He also enjoys collaborating with other people from different backgrounds. He gets excited about pizza and fried chicken, and catching up with friends over a hot breakfast and coffee.  He lives in Toronto with his amazing wife Andrea.
